Before I do anything.....
I am assuming this is likely just a need fertilizer situation, but I wanted to check with the experts before I do anything I might regret
Sorry there is only one pic - I did a test upload just to make sure the system was working, then when I went to upload the rest, it stopped working... I think you can get the idea from the pic I was able to upload, but I will try again to upload the others later. Anyway, this is my basjoo this morning: When the leaves started growing they were a relatively normal color, but now they are coming out VERY pale and seem to be slowing down. I haven't done anything to the plant yet this year. Do I just need to add some fertilizer or might something else be missing?

Re: Before I do anything.....
My plants are knee high this year so far.
It appears just the pups have come up and not the regrowth of the much larger main corms. Looks like I will have more shorty plants than usual. |

Re: Before I do anything.....
Hopefully that big corm is still full of energy to push those pups into towering hounds

My Ice Cream Banana does not like the sun at all. We gets lots of sun in the afternoon, and it seems to be burning the leaves. I’ve been watering it daily to try and keep the leaf temperatures down, but it still has done nothing. It was growing quite well in the shade, but now that it’s in the sun and in the ground, it seems to be stressed from the change of lighting conditions. It hasn’t but out a single leaf and weeks, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to save it. I probably shouldn’t have put it in the sun at a young age to begin with. I have other bananas that are different varieties growing well in the sun, but it’s this one banana that’s really struggling. Does anybody have any idea what I should do?
