![]() Biounious Donuts Everyone
Got my Top Bar Beehive Box Friday:} Still got to put the legs on and then finish it. Now do I use 100% Pure Tung Oil as sealer or a good exterior latex paint to finish it? What do you guy's and gals suggest? Any feedback would be appreciated Again thanks! Snookie

![]() Raw linseed oil on the out side only, Them Bees will coat the inside all by them selves. In you area you should get ya some pretty good honey. Hey its all good but in certain areas the flowers are different hence excellent honey. Best honey I ever had cam from Two hives in Fort Lauderdale Fla . A guy named Scotty "Scotty B's Honey Bees" that stuff was off the hook, Also liked the honey from the citrus belt here in Sunny South Fla . It had that citrus bloom flavor.. Bees are cool! Lots of people start with one hive ! IF THE AREA SUPPORTS IT you might get another ... Wait I can see it now.. "Snookie's Sweet as _ookie Honey"

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As suggested by others here you can use either tung or linseed oil but only on the outside of the box. The oils will not do the bees any good and may be harmful. Like to see photos when you get it put together. I've never seen that type of beehive. |
