Happy Mardi Gras

Well with some time off I made 3 more Bee Swarm Traps/Boxes

Painted the three in different Camo Scenes to avoid folks messing with them when thery are placed at the edge of the woods.

What makes bees come to them? Bait? Sugar water? Why can't you use hives to snare them? Cost of bees and my ignorance (hate spending money if my inexperience would kill them) has always stopped me. Following your project very closely.

I'm new and using lemon grass oil to try and attract them.

I also have my hives baited with lemon grass oil.

The traps are being placed away from my home anywhere from 1 1/2 miles up to 6-7 miles away at friends and folks house's and if successful I simply transport them to their new crib:} here in Lizard Creek!

Cost of bee's depend on location but think $100.00 and you'll be close???

Check out the newest swarm trap I'm working on today to put at the local church I attend:}

As you can see from the entrance I'm trying to attract a religious swarm lol
