| Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

I'm looking to buy some Musa Super Dwarf Cavendish Seeds. The seed suppliers I normally use don't appear to carry them. I see some on eBay / Amazon but they don't mention if they are the "Super" dwarf. I'm looking to keep it in my office so I want it to stay small to medium height. I had an ensete ventricosum in my office previously before but had to take it home when it hit 5 feet.
I typically shop banana-tree.com, rarexoticseeds.com, and seedman.com. Any ideas? |

For any edible-fruited banana, you will have to buy a plant as they do not have seeds. If you see a vendor selling seeds claiming to be of an edible variety, they are either ignorant or lying.

I have some "mini" super dwarf cavendish plants on sale for 25% off on my webstore right now. There is an ad under classified ads that you can click to get there. They are real cute and in great shape, about 8" tall right now. They only get to be 4-5 feet tall.
