a rudimentary germination plant

hi ...Here is my "prehistoric " germination plant but it works...The seeds are in germination since 01/19/2008...They are at30°C in the day and 16-20°C in the night ...I don't know why they are not seedling in the same time ,just one by one...

Re: a rudimentary germination plant

Can't argue with results!... It works and that is all that matters.

I have noticed that in my massive seeds starting trials/experiments here lately (mostly with the palm species Washingtonia Robusta / Filifera / Filibusta) that even slight variations in temps, moisture, and even depth of substrate in a single germination container can cause wild fluctuations in germination rate/time.

With my sikkimensis seeds I have started having them pop up about 5 at a time every week or so... and they were all placed in substrate at the same time in the same container.

Hope the rest germinate for you soon!
