Default Propagator

Hi all,

I want to buy a propagator for banana seed germination.

I was looking on ebay for some thermostatic electric heated models, and i have a question.

Specifications on them says, that they keep temperature of te soil at 19 C. witch is too cold for bananas.

Are there some models that will keep the temperature between 25-30 C ?

What do you use ?

Please help

Well that a heating bed. A Propogator is sharp tool to propogate pups from a mother plant. Could be both but unlikely unless that's a brand name of heating bed.?

Here's the kit i use. This is a bio green grand top digital. Basically a tall housing that will take 3 standard seed trays, a digital thermostat and a high temperature heat matt. The internal light is a 24w T5 sun blaster that i added. It easily reaches 40c and will be stuffed with musa and ensette seed in December I assume you can get something similar (if not the same)in the US.

The items on ebay said "propagator". Never mind... sorry for my bad english.

However, some of the models have maximum temperature 28 C.

So, I wonder do you know a model witch have higher maximum temperature on thermostat ?.

Thank you

adding another light should help with the temps I doubt you want to goto a 120watt light they throw some warmth. you want something moderate since its enclosed. I have no clue what 28C is? or how warm you really want it.. But I do wish you luck :^)
