Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

![]() Hi all,
I want to buy a propagator for banana seed germination. I was looking on ebay for some thermostatic electric heated models, and i have a question. Specifications on them says, that they keep temperature of te soil at 19 C. witch is too cold for bananas. Are there some models that will keep the temperature between 25-30 C ? What do you use ? Please help ![]() |

![]() Here's the kit i use. This is a bio green grand top digital. Basically a tall housing that will take 3 standard seed trays, a digital thermostat and a high temperature heat matt. The internal light is a 24w T5 sun blaster that i added. It easily reaches 40c and will be stuffed with musa and ensette seed in December
