Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

Pink Velvet & Acuminata Dwarf
can anyone give me a step by step on what to do when I receive these seeds in the mail? (Pink Velvet & Acuminata Dwarf) Or direct me to a step by step thread? Any help would be great. I got 10 seeds of each, how many can I expect to actually grow?
thanks everyone! |

Germination guide
This video is by Mr Bungalow. It really is helpful. Also, the Pink velvet banana you are describing is now called Musa dasycarpa. (formerly Musa velutina) |

Re: Pink Velvet & Acuminata Dwarf
Ok, but Kman, if you follow the link it will take you to the banana seed germination thread. There is a ton of good info for you there. Perhaps Erlend will re-post the video or email it to you.
Good luck! |
