Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

Has anyone ever tried germination gel?
How to germinate seeds - YouTube
I came across this product where you can put seeds in and simply let them germinate, being able to see the entire process happen. Has anyone here ever tried this product before? I believe something like this would work great on banana seeds, tree seeds, or any other seeds that are relatively difficult to germinate, but this video makes it look way too easy.

Re: Has anyone ever tried germination gel?
What's the point of that?!
I doubt banana seeds would germinate any better in that stuff, all it is is some water retaining polymer and possibly some nutrients. What a waste of money |

Re: Has anyone ever tried germination gel?
I think it looks like fun though. If it's not too expensive, why not give it a try?
