Ensete sp. 'Kluay Pa'
 

Hi all - I planted some 'Kluay Pa' seeds in mid January and the other day when I looked in there was a seedling coming up!!! However, I'm a bit dubious as to what it is! The seeds were certainly Kluay Pa, but I'm a little worried that it is a Canna seedling from an escapee Canna seed, as it looks quite similar to a Canna seedling! I know it's a bit early to tell really, but I'll be potting it on today so hopefully it'll get going so I can find out. Here are the pics so far;

Since Cannas and bananas are related, there may be quite a lot of similarity between seedlings. Best of luck!

I cant wait to see what she grows up to be, last week I started a couple canna seeds, so I will be watching your post :>)
