Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

Re: Ensete Livingstonianum started germinating in 5 days
Excellent! nice looking seedlings. You might want to think about transplanting them soon. Where did you get the seeds?
At last a picture of the baggie method, I've got completely the wrong end of the stick so far. Oh well a deli container works just as well. |

Re: Ensete Livingstonianum started germinating in 5 days
Awesome! Glad to hear you were successful in germinating. I wouldn't say that all ensete's are easy to germ. though. I've got some E. superbum seeds that I'm trying to germinate and it's been well over a month and I haven't seen anything yet. They say they take anywhere from a month to six months to germinate. Guess I'll keep waiting!
