Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc.

Default Ensete glaucum growing slanted

I've got 4 ensete glaucum that sprouted from seed. I'm trying to keep them alive this winter so I can get them outside in some sun but right now I've got one that is growing at an angle. Should I repot to straighten or just let it go. They are about 6" high.

I would just turn the pot on another side (opposite light source) and it will straight up

I've been doing that but it doesn't change at all.

Thanks!

Mine do that when containers tip over and I do not notice for a few days.
A few years back I had many plants blown over while out of town.

I pulled the plant out and repositioned it in the same container carefully cutting off excess soil
I do not disturb the roots/root ball too much ....so the plant does not really notice.
Double click on the photo to see more pics.
Good luck !

Thanks. I will give it a try. It is tiny but I think it might be OK.
