| Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

congradulations. beautiful plant I've got one fruiting right now. only one of 2 varieties that survived the winter. when winter is over and all the other bananas are going nuts and that one is still dormant, don't touch it. when it decides to move it will make up for lost time. south window or the biggest window. water once a week. mist twice a day. at least. mist the soil also, slightly. keeps the top of the soil from drying out.
