Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

![]() i got the prop out recently to get some seed going.
I forgot i left some e.ventricosum seed in jiffy pellets in there. I gave up on it and forgot to throw them out that was some 20 months ago. For the fun of it i decided to rehydrate the pellets and leave them in the prop. Two weeks later i found this; ![]() So never give up ![]() |

![]() Is that really that odd? I know I'm new to bananas etc. but I do know that most, in fact almost all of any of the other types of seeds that we the novice vegetable etc. planters/growers from the northeast of the USA are familiar with can and do remain viable for at least as many years or longer!
