| Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

anything to add to a germinator besides water
just got my first germinator in. is there anything to add to the water to help growth? peroxide?

Can you post a picture of the germinator or give the make and model number? if you got an incubator from TSC, then I then using wet paper towels with the seed between should be enough.

got it on e-bay. its an Apollo with a temperature controller and heat pad. the thing is not much thicker than what you would buy a cake in. just very cheap. nothing special.

Just follow the manufactures directions.. I looked at ebay and not sure which germinator you have. Anyway they have direction for each system.
