Banana Seed Germination Forum As one of the toughest seeds in the plant kingdom to figure out the keys to germination success with, this is a forum with banana seed germination tips. Please entitle posts like "Musa balbisiana," or "Musa cheesmani," etc. People would then post a reply under that heading, sharing their germination successes (and failures), what materials and methods they used, germination percentage, etc. |

Re: 2 stems?
Could be twins.
Or two seeds were stuck together when they were planted. There are more knowledgeable forum members whom will have a better answer once they see your post. The plant looks very healthy though. Re: 2 stems?
It definitely not 2 seeds stuck together as I sow them 1 by 1 on kitchen towel (after soaking) I'm on the south coast.

Re: 2 stems?
I was checking on the Ensete Glaucum germination thread and came across this.
The thread could be of interest..Recently germinated E glaucum seedlings showing lateral shoots? |

Re: 2 stems?
I've seen the same happen 2 years ago with a sikkimensis seed.
Both grew up fine and were separated when they where about 2ft in height. Unsurprisingly they were -and still are- noticably smaller than another sikkimensis that sprouted from the same batch

Re: 2 stems?
Both seem to be doing very well. I will separate them when they are about 2 ft high.
On another note, i bought 30 seeds and only 2 germinated! I still have the other seeds keeping them warm and damp hoping they may germinate |

Re: 2 stems?
I have recently sprouted HH as well and had 2 of 3 send up double sprouts. Too young to determine if 2 seeds or one.
