Default WTS - HUGE clump Asian Lemon Bamboo

I have a HUGE HUGE (get the idea?) clump of
Bambusa eutuldoides 'Viridivittata' - Asian Lemon Bamboo
that I need removed.

This is a clumper, yellow with green stripes. It came from Tropical Bamboo in Loxahatchee about 5 years ago in a 7 gal pot for $75. It is now a clump about 10 feet across and over 30 ft tall. This will probably have to come out in pieces. Dig it, diivide it, sell it.

Make me an offer.

Just looked it up on the web, that is a pretty one!
I might be interested in a small division if you have one for $15 to $20
or so.

just an inquiry. I am in wisconsin and have a heated shed. Would this do good in a large 24"pot? My ceiling is 10ft so it can get fairly tall. Would u be willing to sell a small clump if so. I have bananas and alocasia at the moment and both do well under the grow lights I have.

It is a tropical bamboo and won't tolerate cold plus like I said, it is over 30 feet tall so it would never fit in there.

I'd love to see a pic before you get it pulled out. (my guess is you'll need a backhoe).

We use the stump bucket on my Dad's skid loader to dig ours. If you get ahold of the underground runners with the teeth on the bucket, you can strip it right out. Just in case you needed to know.

Update - I had the lawn guys chain saw it back to ground level and put it out for the trash.
Now I'm waiting for them to come dig the pool in a week and while here, take out the rhizome base and filll the hole. What a shame.

I sold the whole clump to a guy after the pool people ripped it out. MAN was that a chore. Took it out in managable chunks but at least it is gone.
