I imagine this is the wrong time of year for trying to get one or more. Figured I'd give it a shot. I'd like to have one to watch grow while I'm waiting for spring. I bought one off of Amazon but it's not doing anything what so ever since I bought it. The reviews aren't so hot either but figured I'd give it a shot.

I bought a few different bananas from Green Earth co to watch grow till spring lol and they are all putting out new leaves and growing. They are in my bird room where I keep the temp at 70 degrees and bright lights. My big bananas are in an unheated garage for the winter.

green earth ships nice healthy tissue culture plants but they are all wonder bananas you wonder what they are most are dwarf Cavendish regardless of what you order they are a good choice if the variety dosent matter

I have a garage but it's separate from the house and cold enough that water freezes out there. Wasn't sure if that was an option or not.

all bananas do poorly below 60 f basjo is better than most but will stop growing below 60

Dave if your desperate I can ship you one for 10.00 plus shipping not sure how they will do shipping this time of year if you want to do this send me a mailing address and I will figure out shipping cost also there is a large commercial green house in the Kansas city area that
some times has various bananas but I dont remember the name my son who lives in belton Missouri took me there once huge place I still have some dwarf Cavendish I purchased there when i talk to him I will get the name for you

Also Home depot, Walmart etc. is likely to have them, late spring.

That would be really great. I realize it's a risk. This would be musa bamboo? Just checking so I'll know what it is. :)

there musa basjoo pups from a mat that has ben growing in my yard for about 4 years
and appear very cold tolerant

Actually the 3 bananas I ordered from Green Earth look different one is a cavendish which is what I wanted the other are Cali gold and orinoco and they are all very different looking.
