These are just the cutest little things you've ever seen! I got in several of these lately and I got in several liners last year and sold all but one of them. This one is now about 2 feet tall but it has a trunk that's as big as a 6 foot dwarf cavendish. Heck, we even had people racing to see who could get theirs the biggest last year. I haven't heard yet how that turned out, but the one man cheated and took his to Florida with him for the winter, and I don't think that should be allowed...
These are no problem to take inside in the fall either.
These aren't the high color minis, these start green and stay green. They have wide leathery leaves when they get older and there's like 1/2 inch of trunk in between the leaves. I get these from a different supplier than the one you're all familiar with in Apopka. So they're not the same as the high color mini from what I've seen.
You can also grow these things forever (it seems like) in a gallon pot. In the second picture, the one on my patio, the banana in between the chairs is one of these minis, about a year old in the picture. They are just so cute!
Thanks for looking! If you're interested pm me. I will be able to take credit cards directly over the phone etc. starting next week. And you can take 10% off items in my online store, too for being a bananas.org member.
