Mike , off topic but how did you fare with the rain onslaught up there? We are getting hit hard right now and they say it's gonna get worse with 65mph winds

Dumping buckets here as well. Small stream flood warnings for our county and those surrounding. Looks like a real mess up in the Napa area. Luckily where our house is located we are on high ground. Just major winds to be concerned with.

I am 58 miles away from Mike, and separated by a flooded section of Freeway, and we had 52 mph wind gusts in my yard. My bananas are still standing. All of my potted plants are rolling to and fro. My neighbor's big laurel tree in the front collapsed on my multi-grafted lemons and multi-grafted apples. All of my in-ground trees are standing.

It is one of those weeks that you have free time, but cannot work in the yard, and cannot go out to shop either. So I drink home made wines, enjoy the fireplace and chew on some nuts.
