After seeing sunsetsammy's beautiful plant, I have decided that this is my next acquisition. If anyone has a pup or plant available, please pm me. I can send out money tomorrow.

I got one of mine from Home Depot in last Spring 9 bucks. It's worth a look come Spring , they had a few Musa too , mostly Basjoo. There are a few sites online that do Maurelii , normally they should be pretty cheap as they are a commom TC plant.
Good Luck Steve

I have one about 2' tall I would consider trading for clumping bamboo, heliconia, BOP, palm, or banana from my wish list. I just cut and pasted this from the list. The price of Maurelli has gone down quite a bit. There were large ones (about 6' tall) at the local nursery in early spring for $125.00. You can order one from stokestropicals right now for $11.98 + shipping (of course much smaller than 6' tall).

I guess so.
Don't be fooled by the list, it's all copied and pasted from the web through hours of researching what will grow in my area (or at least have a chance). And I still don't know much about all the banana groups. |

Go with Stokes. They sent me a robust little E M plant. After I whacked the caterpiller it's coming back real strong because of the big root ball. Just check daily for critts on anything you order thru the mail.

I also highly recommend Stoke's. I got a musa bordelon, Maurelli, and alocasia Calidora from them. They were all nice size healthy plants. Their customer service is also excellent.

Thanks to everyone for all the offers. I think I have one coming, and I would like to say I appreciate everyone making offers, and for the speed in doing that.
