Default Look out

I found this ad in the LA Times Oct 19th. It says that California is being attacked by Diaprepes Root Weevils from plants coming from Florida.

Is this the BA meeting? Hi! My name is Paul. I live in Florida, and I have bugs!

At least this is a reminder to clean away all dirt when you bring in new plants. I can't say I've done this in more than a couple cases, but maybe it doesn't matter as much when you buy locally.
Weevils? I don't know if I have them in my bananas, but I've had them in my house. (Knock on wood) My bananas appear to get very little bug damage where I can see it.

Paul
