Re: Interested In a Special Verieties of Bananas
Are you in Hawaii? Aiuri isn't impossible to find. Afara is on Kauai and likely the Big Island but I havent' been able to get ahold of one despite a few years of trying. They aren't actually native to Hawaii, but there is some evidence that Fe'i types were brought here along with others that are considered Hawaiian types of bananas.

I believe the truth is that it is not cost effective to tissue culture them for the given demand of buyers.

If Fehi Aiuri is possible to find do you know where can i find it ? I'm not in Hawaii, But I'm looking for a place that can sell these and ship them to other places in the U.S., I know a guy that has a few Fehi from different kinds, Such as Portia, Aiuri, Afara, And some more that i can't remember, He lives on the big island. But Its forbidden to send them out of Hawaii so ive heard, There are very strict Instructions about that issue by the USDA.

Re: Interested In a Special Verieties of Bananas
Hello Again Rob,
Yeah It's Chris Carter that grows them on Horseback Ranch, I know all about the Diseases on the Island, Thats why i do understand the Restrictions, And it's for our own good. Thats why was wondering (and asking) If there are any certified nurseries that are approved by the USDA as Pests and Disease Free that holds Fehi Banans (Fehi Afara) somewhere in the U.S. ? Thanks a lot for you time and kindness. Cheers.
