I'm happy to say that there are a bunch of new Manini growers this past week and there will be more this coming week.

This offer is temporarily closed.

To my surprise, the packing material was 9 Mysore bananas. Very good. Tangy, with I hint of pineapple. If you live in an area that is reliable to fruit bananas, you need to grow this banana. The Mysore banana is on top of my list.

I hope to get one of the variegated ones someday. They just look cool, even if they don't taste good. That and a VC.

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.

Would you please send me one of those the next time you have one? I even have my wife's blessing on getting one of those variegated ones...

These are the new corms I received from PR-Giants May 19, 2016
Left to right, Manini,Mysore, and Patupi. This package also used bananas as some of the packing material. 3 Veinte Cohol bananas were included in the shipment. One of the bananas was a double. Very good bananas. Similar to the taste of store bought bananas, but much more intense. Sort of a o wow factor. I felt that they were also sweeter. I could eat Veinte Cohol bananas every day. Defiantly worth growing that banana, in fact I would recommend you grow that banana.
I want to thank you Keith for sending bananas with the corms I ordered. It was a pleasant surprise, and a very tasty surprise. Living in Zone 8, I have little opertunity to taste other bananas other than store bought. In the future I will order a box of fruit and tase other varietys available on your farm. Again, thank you.

Good Luck Mark

It's gonna be great to see a Manini growing in Manzano country.

Surprised you didn't receive any Manini fruit, it's one of our favorites and is the most common non-plantain banana we grow. Shipped some out yesterday with your favorite banana plant.

Monster Manini fruit.

No there were not any Manini fruit in my box of great big corms. I hope that little mistake doesn't happen again. Just kidding. I was very happy with the samples I did receive.
Now just so I can mentally prepare myself. I someday I do get the great opertunity to try Manini fruit, how do I try it? Cooked? Out of hand? Both?
Thanks again Keith.

Next box will have Manini fruit.

We cook them and they're certainly one of our favorites.

I noticed this offer for manini is temporarily closed.

If it should open again, I am interested in purchasing a manini (maybe other variety also,) or multiple maninis.

South Florida, USA.

Please advise as available.

Thanks.
