Up for bid is a healthy Saba pup.

Saba means "Grandfather" in Hebrew.
The Saba is certainly the grandfather of the banana plants.

Here's a photo of one of mine blooming right now:

These get huge!!

Read and learn all about the Saba banana plant in the wiki:

WYSIWYG
  • This pup is what you see is what you get. It was cut last season and has been potted up since.
  • As far as Saba go, its a small pup (most saba pups are 6' tall before you know it), it was an eye that came off another pup actually and so I potted it up and its been doing great ever since. The corm on this I would guess to be baseball sized.
  • It'll be shipped soil-less and without the container.
Shipping
  • Shipping should be about ten bucks.
  • I gladly combine shipping and pass the savings on to you.
  • If you're bidding on other auctions of mine, let me know and I'll gladly hold this till the other auctions end and they can all ride together. No problem!
  • Hopefully soon we'll get a shipping calculator built into the auctions!
