tissue culturing with other parts of plant?
 
can you make a culture of tissue with parts of the plant that arnt the corn? would the banana peel be able to be cultured?

If the fate of bananas depended on it, with enough money and specilalists, theorhetically it might be possible technically, but it would be very difficult with no meaningful gain.

You need actively dividing cells, which in bananas pretty much are only found in/on the corm, the apical meristem being the easiest to access and keep sterile for culture.

There are some advanced procedures that use very young male flowers from the flower bud after fruiting, but this is only used for some specific experimental purposes and not for propagation.
