Default tissue culture, when?

Hi everyone,

I wonder if there is a specific time period to take suckers from banana trees.

Thanks already,

except for winter, anytime your willing to get dirty. they are dormant during winter and are very susceptible to root rot then from over watering.

P.S. if you are talking about taking a sucker to do a tissue culture on then disregard this cause I do not know nothing about tissue cultures......sorry

A lot of hydroponic stores are starting to carry tissue culture kits. it looks very interesting, and vey affordable. I might have to give it a try if I ever get caught up with the rest of the projects
