I've done as much research as possible and still don't have an answer. I would like to use general hydroponics PH buffers but I dont know if I can GENERAL HYDROPONICS: pH Buffers Everything ive read says to use hydrogen chloride and Sodium hydroxide, well I found some on the internet but I have to pay a large fee to ship. So I looked for a local place all I found was this pH Buffers | Taylor Scientific but I don't know which to get. thanks

You just need to adjust the pH. Why do you want to use a buffer? A buffer resists pH change, this would be a problem. You can use distilled vinegar and sodium bicarbonate just as easily, why complicate things?

Failing that, drain unblocker is quite often sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and patio cleaner is hydrochloric acid, but make sure you dilute before use. These items may be available in your local hardware store, just read the labels.
