I'm sure it's fine. I'm not sure anyone has actually used it, hence no replies. If you live in the US it's nice and cheap, if you live anywhere else the postage is hideously expensive.

Go for it.

I have used it - it works perfectly. Unless something has changed it is the recipe right out of Vuylsteke's manual.

With BAP for shoots, without for roots.

That looks right - though it has been a while! I would just call Ken Torres and tell him what you are doing an he will get you the right stuff no problem.

The multiplication medium has sugar and a gelling agent already in it and is ready to go, but the basal medium lacks these, so you will need to add it back in. You can use table sugar (20g/L I believe but you should double check) and gelrite/gellan gum (2g/L I think, but double check).

I would probably work but in my experience the gellan gum is easier to use and works better, it is also still really cheap. But you can experiment.
