Default Large pup removal

I have never tried removing a pup this size but this one was hanging too far over my pool and making a huge mess. I gave it a shot and things seem to be progressing well. I cut it down to about 3ft to reduce expended energy in hope of stimulating root and corm growth.

I noticed something interesting today. It appears the plant has skipped creating pups and gone straight to fruiting.
