Large pup removal
I have never tried removing a pup this size but this one was hanging too far over my pool and making a huge mess. I gave it a shot and things seem to be progressing well. I cut it down to about 3ft to reduce expended energy in hope of stimulating root and corm growth.
The following photos were taken over a Sept 28 Sept 30 ... No significant change for weeks ... Oct 17 Oct 18

Re: Large pup removal
I'll take a photo this weekend and upload it. By the time I get home it is too dark.
Here is a photo from November 16th.

Re: Large pup removal
I noticed something interesting today. It appears the plant has skipped creating pups and gone straight to fruiting.
