This would be a great way to share the more rare varieties I grow instead of waiting for suckers to trim.

I saw this searching info on the Ensete I got this spring. Started digging plants yesterday, my Ensete is now in 4 pots. We will see what happens.

This won't work with Musa in the same way, they will just send out one or two large suckers. You can get Musa to undergo a similar process, but it is much more complicated.
