are some bananas eaiser to culture than others ? what is the eaisest?
I have helens hyb ,seikimeises , orinico icecream. basjoo, velutina rajaha puri and dwarf cavindish to play with

I was told by my supplier ney poovan was one of the harder ones.

I am pretty sure basjoo are by far the easiest since the entire reason they're unable to propagate via flowering in most places is due to their mass production. They're the only banana plant I am aware of that is exploited to this degree. They are essentially the army tanks of banana plants and can survive extreme levels of negligence. I have over 150 and give them absolutely no care at all. People grow them virtually all over the globe. The only ones able to produce seeds that I am aware of are in their homeland of Japan in the wild.

To know the fact that most of the basjoos outside of Japan share similar DNA is honestly frightening...
