Default Do you think this pup will make it?

Hi I am new to the world of bananas, I bought one at a local nursery that I cant identify. I am thinking Orinoco but not sure, more about that here Can you identify this Banana plant? Since I don't know how cold hardy it is, I am going to have to put it in my unheated garage, and since I am afraid it wont make the winter, I took a pup and potted it. It has a large root system but no leaves yet. Can you pot up a pup with no leaves? Oh and don't mind the Oatmeal canisters, they are a very high tech piece of equipment I use to hold up shop lights lol.

Agreed. And it if doesn't, that happens. Don't overreact and water too much; don't fertilize up a storm. Just keep her warm and happy and let her figure it out.
