5c fresh or frozen blueberries (washed/stems picked off, I always do half blackberries and half blueberries) tastes great that way!
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 1/2c granualated sugar 1/4c cornstarch 1/4c water 1 prepared graham cracker crust 1.place berries and lemon juice in medium sauce pan ( i call it a a pot ) 2.sprinkle sugar over berries 3.heat on medium-heigh untill its boiling. reduce heat and simmer 2-3 min 4. stir together cornstarch and water untill all the cornstarch is dissolved. add to the berry mixture. let simmer another 2 min. 5.remove from het and pour into prepared crust. cool 20 min then refrigerate at least 1-2 hours. I promise youll love this pie. i havent tried but maybe experament with different berries. if you find a great combo of berries post it! id love to hear it! |
