I made the apple sauce but I served them in the morning. They were so in a hurry for school so I was not able to ask them how was it?
I plan to make them again soon and with ice cream on top as you suggested.

Your apples are gorgous! The best thing we ever bought was a juicer steamer. We bottled some apple juice last year when we were able to glean some trees after the harvest. We cored the apples and tossed them in and the juice poured out a rubber tube. We put spices in some before we canned it to drink hot in the winter.
