Wanted: Musa Velutina (Seeds or better yet, Corms)
I am looking for Musa velutina - preferably some corms, but I'll go for seeds if need be. The batch of seeds I got from ebay did not sprout at all for me. I tried a few germination techniques and got nothing so far. It's been almost 6 months now.

It took mine 6 months to sprout...they like a little bit of heat under them. Maybe put them on top of you cable box that's what I've been using for heat lately.

They've been on heating mats all this time. Let's see how long they take once they do.

Re: Wanted: Musa Velutina (Seeds or better yet, Corms)
I had 7/11 seeds that I purchased from Ebay sprout. It took about 3/4 weeks for them to germinate. You need a warm room over 80 degrees consistently and I putted them in seeds starter trays with seed starting soil. I also placed the trays inside of a plastic ziploc bag and left as much air in there as possible. Also, the sun may help inside of the ziploc bag but it can get too hot so I tried to keep it out of the sunlight. Hope this helps.
