As you can see, it's just now starting to develop the dark pseudostem towards the bottom. It is cold-hardy too, but I protected it very well last winter. Even so, it was later to return than basjoo or sikkimensis, and took longer to get growing well.

Thanks guys , I see the colour starting , I'm really into different looks on Musa , like the white bloom on 'Saba'
On the seed front , I think I'm going to wait until December to order seed so with luck they will be ready to go out in the Spring Sun. Later Steve
