I'm looking for a fruiting variegated banana plant (not an ornamental). Let me know what you have. I am in the South FL area.

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.

Hoping Keith will have a small one he could pack in some bananas for me... Not sure his are dessert type, though.
There will be pups all over in a year or two.

It's cheaper than the $150-$250+ ones I've seen. >.< I'd love a variegated banana, but I know if I ever spent that kind of money on one plant, I'd somehow manage to kill it. Quickly. That's just the way my luck works.
