Anyone looking to trade plants for bananas?
I'm looking for any edible banana. If you post a list of what you have that would be great... Here are some plants/seeds I have to trade: Orinoco banana suckers Blackberry cuttings( Very low, to no chill, long fruiting season) Citation peach rootstock(rooted cuttings) Natal plum( rooted cuttings) Cassava cuttings Native elderberry root suckers Tindora(non bitter, bitter, flowering. rooted plants) Florida Cranberry seeds(A hibiscus, v. will it accept (GASP) Florida Prince ?? I'm sure someone will explain the gasp.

You could graft peaches on to it. I normally do apricot and plum though, and put peaches on Nemaguard peach. It cant handle diseases from peaches to well, so Iv heard.
... Dose not take well to drying out. I use it because its resistant to nematodes, and forces huge fruit... I actually have seedling crosses of those two rootstocks growing up right now.. I might have a few of those to trade in a while, after I finish selecting the best one to propagate.. |
