Looking for Ice Cream Banana
 

Hi,
I am a new banana lover since a friend turned me onto them. I saw photos of one and fell in love, it was called an ice cream banana. If anyone had one for sale, please contact me. Thanks and nice to be here.

Since the real Ice Cream banana is not sold commercially in the U.S., it is likely your friend has Namwa. Further, it is very likely you'll like the taste of Namwa better than Ice Cream. Also, since your friend already has a plant -- why not get a pup from them?

I Have a Blue Java from a type which is less familiar, It produces large Bananas
and the taste is truly amazing, I will upload pictures of needed, If you want I can
trade with you If you have something interesting.

I can verify Crazy Banana has the real thing. Which is quite rare. If you want the real thing like the picture by his name. Make sure you buy from someone who has fruited theirs and can show you pictures. I would say 95%+ of "blue java" is common Tall Namwa. Just depends what you want! The picture by my name is "tall namwa" not blue java. However it is sold as blue java! It is not correct!

If they fell in love from just a picture, likely it was a Blue Java, as Namwah don't really have any outstanding visual qualities to fall in love with. They just look like a banana plant. Blue Java on the other hand, have an outstanding visual quality of having those striking blue bananas contrasting with the green leaves. They almost seem to grow in the dark.
I don't yet know what they taste like, though.
