If you want any variety you will probably have to go mail order; try these links....
Tropic to Tropic (Ray) in Tsawwassen BC Tropic to Tropic Plants :: Home Flora Exotica (Perry) in Montreal QC - can be hard to get a hold of in the winter months Flora Exotica - Exotic Plants (Flowers, Fruits, Foliage, Vegetable & Herb) Phoenix Perennial (Gary) in Richmond BC - will take requests Phoenix Perennials Mail Order Montreal Plants (Mike) in Montreal QC - can do special orders Montreal Plants | Cold Hardy Palms | Tropical Sales Hope this helps. FYI, I have dealt with all these suppliers and found their product good. Just remember that mail order plants are normally smaller than those purchased in store because of shipping (expect Mike, he will ship plants up to 4ft by regular post) |

Quote:
Banana plants are considered houseplants in Canada but depending upon where they originate from (state and or country) there are certain requirements and a plant "travelling alone" can not cross into Canada without certain paperwork. It will be confiscated and destroyed. The following link will tell you what you can and can't bring in. Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) - Plants - Canadian Food Inspection Agency |

Got something smaller than truly tiny. Unknown variety but tough and pups like crazy. A few members got some from me and so far everybody is happy. PM me if interested. I've got DC available too. My Truly tiny and SDC pups are too small at the moment and there's a waiting list...

or colder sometimes closer to -50c so if I can grow bananas here I think anyone can.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() also -40c is cold enough to throw boiling water up about 3-4 feet and by the time it hits the ground its frozen cold. ![]()
