Default Haa Haa (aka Dwarf White Iholena)

Anybody have a Haa Haa (Dwarf White Iholena) pup they'd be willing to sell and ship to me?

Here's a pic and excerpt from Pitangadiego's webebananas website:

Quote:
HAA HAA
Iholena Ula'Ula' (009), Dwarf White Iholena (097)

DESCRIPTION:
A striking plant which bears medium bunches of delicious fruit with orange flesh. A rare form of the Iholena Family. (061) (007) The plant is very stout and vigorous in appearance with an unusual ivory hue to the trunk and petioles. (007) A dwarf form of White lholena, very stout, with fruit similar to the others. Average hardiness. (009) Fruit turns yellow long before ripe. Tends to fall over with fruit on it, so definitely needs bracing. (097) This is a dwarf stout plant with a yellow skin and orange flesh. (063) Striking plant producing medium bunches of delicious fruit. (096)

TYPE: DESSERT
GENETICS: AAA (009)
HEIGHT: 6' (910), 6-8' (009), 10-12' (061) (007)
HIGHLIGHTS: Color change.
Thanks!

The one is the photo is misidentified. Gabe concluded it was most likely Dwarf Brazilian or Rajapuri. The real Hawaiian Ha'a or Ha'aha'a is most likely extinct according to the Kepler and Rust Hawaiian bananas book. If you can find the real deal, there will be some excited folks in Hawaii.

That's funny cause the pic does look like a Raja puri.. lol I wonder if Aloha tropical just orders RP T/C's and sells the as such? Wouldn't be the first to pawn off a fake.. I guess this will be continued.. lol :^)

Aloha Tropicals does their own TC work, or so the owner told me. I suspect he was sold a "Haa Haa" that was misidentified and has propagated and sold it as what is was sold to him as. But I don't really know.

I wouldn't think they are as bad as TyTy, but it looks like a search for the extinct. I guess that's better than a banana that's renamed for marketing purposes.. :^)
