That fruit (and the plant) is a serious neurotoxin. It is grown commercially for distillation of the cell toxin Annonacin - used for topical or micro encapsulated treatment of cancer cells. When ingested orally it is distributed throughout the body, randomly killing brain cells, connective tissue, and the like. Ingestion of soursop and it's juice is the leading cause of Atypical Parkinson's Disease.

If thats the case , the Majority of all the people in Puerto rico , Dominican republic , all the Carib and latin america will be affected by the daily use of the Guanabana milk shakes that is a daily staple in those locations..

I love Guanabana smoothies ! , yes i belive the Leaves and bark if taken every day for Decades can Cause it ..

But i dont agree that the fruit causes that disease..
