first growing seeds/ plants wanted
Hy, I need a starter kit, as it were, to begin growing my own edible bananas. Any help, anyone?

Most seeded Bananas are not really edible, there are a few edible ones started by seed, but most are not worth the effort because the Bananas you get from them will all be seeded as well (Realllly full of seeds like BB's). The ones you see that dont have seeds in the supermarket are clones propagated by dividing offshoots/pups, they are sterile and seedless, like a seedless grape, or orange, unless maybe pollinated by another nearby variety. If you want edible, you would be probably better off buying small Tissue Culture cloned plants, or acquiring pups from someone. Ebay has a lot of Bananas for sale, and also people on this site as well.
