Default T.R. Hovey Papaya

Not sure if anyone has any starts of this variety or not. Thought I'd poke around and see if anyone had it. Let me know if anyone could send one of these to Canada. Thanks

I got mine from Logee's. It was small but healthy.

I read some reviews on Logee's and its not a dwarf no matter how they market the plant.. Fruit looks simular to Solo & Red Lady.. Red Lady can be picked up @ Lowe's for $10.. :^)

I recently ordered one from Logee's but I think the border guard was having an off day and it was confiscated at the border....said the paperwork was not in order. Otherwise Logee's will not ship outside of the US.

You could try Perry at Flora Exotica, he's in Montreal.
Flora Exotica - Exotic Fruit - Papaya
He has papaya listed but I am not sure what type he has.

Otherwise check out your local exotic plant societies - I picked up a beautiful 4ft babco papaya for $25 during their yearly spring sale

Thanks everyone. Logees or Hirts will ship to Canada unfortunately. I will try emailing flora exotica, thanks pmurphy.

I don't think an exotic plant society exists where I live. Plant societies here are 90% hostas with a few day lillies lol. I think I may need to start up a legit exotic plant society!
