Welcome to our classifieds section! It is here that you may post bananas and other plants and related items for sale, buy from users who have already done so, etc. Can't access a certain category? Send us a message if something is not clear. Feel free to post a new ad and have fun.
I need to thin a very mature stand of Alpinia purpurata "Ginoza". This is a tropical ginger, zone 10-11 (cannot freeze). Can be container grown, will bloom in a container. This ginger can attain an eventual height of 10 feet but mostly stays between 5-8 ft. Blooms are hot pink, ice cream cone shaped, terminal.
You would receive a complex of rhizomes, trimmed roots, top foliage removed for shipping. Because this is a field grown plant in Florida soil, it cannot be legally shipped to the following states:
CA, TX, HI, AZ, LA or the Territory of Puerto Rico.
I am interested in many things, but mainly tropical plants. Hoyas, other gingers, bananas (of course), philodendrons, anthuriums, orchids, bromeliads, tropical shrubs (but NOT hibiscus, they are whitefly magnets here) and not cannas.
