this was the BEST pineapple I ever had... I have to grow more of these.... I twisted off the top.. Can I just plant it the way it is?

That photo isn't of mine, found that sucker on Google.
Mine still lacks the first pineapple. Hopefully in a year or two it'll form.


@Bobby - I like to pot mine first, but yup, just plant the head the way it is. I used to start it rooting balanced on the top of a cup of water, but nowadays, I just go straight for the dirt (with few, if any, casualties).

sweet & very juicy..

last year was sweeter though, i waited for the real sweet smell.

this one didn't hve the real sweet smell. kinda too soon..

but i was wanting it !!!
