**EXTREMELY RARE** Chinese potatoes

Hello.
I have some Chinese potato growing tubers if anyone is interested.
No kidding how rare these plants are. You can find people selling crap that
Don't produce tubers, but I have the real deal!

A member of the mint family, these plants produce edible tubers much like
A potato but more flavor. They have soft creamy flesh when cooked unlike
Other rare root crops.
The best part!! They Thrive in the heat and humidity.
Plant them and harvest in the fall.

5 growing tubers for $14 shipped
Message me. Thank you

Re: **EXTREMELY RARE** Chinese potatoes

Do you have the scientific name for this plant? Or pictures? Or a link? I'm asking because I'm fighting air potatoes in my yard; they were introduced to FL in 1905 as a test agricultural crop since they are used for food in Africa and Asia.

They're an horribly invasive; just as the state has requested that residents kill Cuban tree frogs, they're asked that we not plant AP and work to eradicate them. From what I found about Chinese "potatoes" is that they're also in the family Dioscorea. Right or wrong?

If they are what I think they are I want some. I just need more than a vague description. Maybe some pictures.

Kat, I am with you... Before we bought this house, portions of the yard were heavily overgrown, and potato vines were in there... They chopped it all down to mulch....Did you know, the tiniest piece of one of those potatoes can sprout a new plant, and once they sprout they are nearly impossible to stop? I pull dozens every week and sprayed extensively when I first moved in. No help at all. They are everywhere... I hate them almost as much as tree rats.

Yes, sorry guys, Mr bryce is right. Follow that link and you'll get your answers.
I received these last year and they're a winner in my book.
I am VERY likely one of a only a hand full, if that, of people that have these in the US.

Nice advertisement. One correction: Kaffir potato (Plectranthus esculentus) is native to Africa.
