I have several pots of white butterfly ginger and it needs dividing. Since it doesn't sell all that well in Indiana, I thought I'd give you all a chance. It's a real pretty plant, green leaves, white fragrant blooms towards fall. I will post a picture of it when I get a chance, but I'll just be dividing it out of these potted ones I have. I've noticed that it also does really well if you put it barerooted into the shallow edge of a pond/water garden, and then it multiplies like crazy! Gosh, Sandy, I wish I knew you had these. A friend had just suggested this to me and I then bought one on eBay last week and it just arrived today. It's okay but I'm sure yours would have ended up been a nicer division and a better deal. Good luck!Harvey |

This stuff just grows like crazy, I sure wish it was hardy here. I put it in the glass house attached lean-to greenhouse over the winter on the top shelf and now I can't see out of my kitchen window at all. Ted, my hubby said he'll be glad when I move it so he can see out again. It's almost up to the roof vents now.If I don't sell it, well I think I heard you can eat it! |
