WE HAVE A WINNER!! Well my wife sprang some Sunday afternoon plans on me so I have no choice but to announce the winner this morning. I would like to thank all who entered the contest. Your a great bunch! Hehe, get it...bunch! Anyway, the final count is a whopping 159 fingers!!! That's the largest bunch I've ever grown in my garden. So the winner of this contest is..........................................Cedardave, and to make up for my morning mishap Bencelest will get a free pup too!

In the spirit of giving for the holidays I'm going to give away a Pisang Klotek pup and pay to ship it UPS overnight in the USA. You pay nothing. Members outside the USA will have to pay for the shipping of their choice. As an added bonus I'll send the winner some fruit from my plant when they are almost ripe! You decide what shipping service you want to use and pay for the shipping. The fruit is free!

Here is the deal. I have another Pisang Klotek flowering. The first hand is visible today, 11-20-07 The last bunch never ripened due to a frost that killed all the leaves as the flower was emerging.

Now for the rules:

Try to guess how many fingers this bunch will have. One guess per member. The person who guesses the closest without going over wins. I will close the contest after the first male flowers appear on the bunch but I will give a few days notice for any late entries before closing the contest and announcing the final tally.

Jarred (Mediahound) has offered to edit the post as members make guesses.
